In an addition to the list of names of celebrities who commit the most disastrous fashion faux pas, albeit unknowingly, is that of Hollywood actress Hilary Swank’s. Representing the Elle Magazine’s Women, along with her contemporaries at a Hollywood Tribute party held in Los Angeles, Hilary Swank looked resplendent in a golden bustier dress by Calvin Klein, until she revealed what the media cameras were not likely to miss- the hair in her armpit.
Though her fans are sure that the 36 year old actress mistakenly showed them off, while walking the red carpet with the other Hollywood ladies, the media is not so sympathetic! However, Hilary Swank is not the only actress of recent times to have committed such a faux pas. While Julia Roberts is best remembered to have shown the hairs in her armpit during the London premiere of her film “Notting Hill” while she happily waved her hands to the assembled photographers, actress Drew Barrymore and singer Beyonce Knowles have also been spotted carrying hairy armpits. And now it looks like Hilary Swank too follows the same grooming regime as some of her contemporaries!
The Elle Magazine’s Women tribute party was reportedly one of the biggest nights in Hilary Swank’s acting career. The two-time Oscar winning actress even collected an award for her contribution to Hollywood movies. However it was the tuft of hair peeping out of her armpits that clearly played the spoilsport. It seems like unshaved underarms and Hollywood beauties go hand in hand!
